OUR VISION AT NAIJA GREENLIFE
Improved livelihoods for small and medium holder farmer and food security in Nigeria by accelerating inclusive agribusiness through public private partnerships
OUR MISSION AT NAIJA GREENLIFE
To position and empower further advancement of agribusiness at all levels, as a key driver for development in the Nigerian economy.
OUR MARKET LINKAGE STRATEGY
As part of our commitment to improve the income of small and medium holder farmers in Nigeria, we support them with timely market information, leverage for negotiation, effective supply management, access to high quality inputs and credits among others.

Naija Greenlife is the agribusiness desk of Onelife Initiative for Human Development. We believe in that agriculture should be perceived as a business and not as a development issue. To this end, we call it agri-business. When farmers begin to see themselves as businessmen and women, we will believe we have succeeded.

Who we are : Niaja Greenlife is a structured private sector contributing to the development of Nigeria’s agricultural economy, making occupation and lifting millions out of neediness through learning in inclusive agribusiness. We are impetus in changing the substance of Agriculture in Nigeria. We strive as stakeholders  in agribusiness to differentiate the economy of Nigeria far from oil and gas towards agrarian industrialization. We perceive our part as the motor of financial development with the government making the empowering condition for agribusinesses to flourish.

Our Focus

Building agribusiness cluster  We focus on strengthening agribusiness clusters and aims to contribute to increase productivity, improved income as well as improved service delivery to small and medium holder farmers In Nigeria. We believe in cluster building, as it encourages social inclusion in sustainable agribusiness  which benefits all actors in the value chain, especially at the grassroots level.

Our target groups and beneficiaries includes, among others; small holder farmers (SHF), local entrepreneurs, business development services, traders, bankers, research and extension services and market information systems.

To further advance agribusiness intensification and integration into another sector of the Nigeria economy, we are mindful of the strength in collaboration and partnership  of stakeholders in the agribusiness ecosystem.

Building capacity

Our capacity development programs covers but not limited to

  1. Raising awareness on the significance of agribusiness escalation and linkages through activities oriented towards both private and public sector stakeholders (e.g. Study visits, round table meetings, support of stakeholders in agribusiness trade fairs and meetings)
  2. Strengthening of ‘individual/aggregate’ capabilities of farmers, local entrepreneurs, and business development and financial services. This spreads both administrative (e.g. Business planning, financial analysis and related investigation and administration, customer relationships) and technical (e.g. Product and process knowledge) issues
  3. Facilitation of networking and dialogue among stakeholders. This includes dialogue on effective private and public sector roles to create enabling environments for competitive cluster formation”
